Make it comfy: If you want to add even more cushion to your comfy lounge chairs, use decorative pillows that coordinate with the decor in the rest of your room. You can even use multiples of the same pillows on your bed and in the chairs to create a cohesive theme throughout the space. Choose pillows that are small and not too bumpy or textured so they feel comfortable against your back or head as you sprawl out and chill. Use as many pillows as is comfortable for you, and think about getting a few bigger cushions to put on the floor so you can have overflow seating.
Assess your space: While most of us would love to have a couch, chaise loungers and a full seating area in our master bedrooms, this isn’t always feasible. Determine how much space you have to work within your room. A bay window or area adjacent to the main master bedroom area is ideal. If you don’t have this, a chair in a corner may suit your needs as well. For extra tight master bedrooms, consider doing away with one nightstand and replacing with a comfortable chair.
Get cozy: Now that you have your lounge chair area all picked out, it’s time to think about making the space ultra-cozy. Get a throw blanket to drape over the back of each chair so everyone who sits in your lounge area – even if it’s just you – can stay warm. If you have bean bag chairs that don’t have defined backs, you can fold your throw blanket into a long, thin drape to hang over one side of the chair.
